Photographer’s Note
Laida beach belongs to the Vizcaya municipality of Ibarrangelu, and is located in the Biosphere Reserve of Urdaibai.
With almost a kilometre of fine golden sand, it is the largest beach of the Mundaka estuary, and offers the possibility of many different sports activities: Windsurfing, paddle boating, sailing... But, without doubt, it is surfing which is worth special mention, since opposite the beach is the prestigious wave of Mundaka. Surfers from many parts of the world come here to catch the waves on their boards.

Hola Mirari,
Una playa preciosa con un gran arenal donde las olas entran suavemente, no como estos días atrás de temporal. Me gusta la perspectiva con el pueblo al fondo.
