Photographer's Note

This island (about 200m off the coast) belonged to the grandfather of a friend of mine. He sold it at a very low price because it was no good for him: he was a shepperd. Then, it was an uninhabited place; in the 70s, they allowed the building of over thirty houses and this horrible block of flats (20 floors, 70m high). The island is still private; since the 90s, pedestrian access is allowed through the bridge only to go to the beaches. There are two important archeological sites in the island (a Celtic village and a Roman burial place) but unfortunately they're for the exclusive enjoyment of residents.
That building is one of the greatest shames that we have to face in our city...
PP: raw file processed with Camera Raw; then brightness & contrast, warming filter, noise and sharpening.
I don't know why, but it was quite grainy before noise reduction.
Thanks for watching, and nice weekend for everyone!
