Photographer's Note

Located to the north of the capital, it is linked to the capital and other mountain villages via a local road crossing the entire north of the province up to Beteta and its bordering villages. This is a beautiful mountain village that has an interesting wooden furniture tradition.
The nature site called Los Callejones is just a kilometre's distance from the village. This geological formation was formed by the differential erosion of calcareous rocks, with air and water modelling figures with the appearance of: bridges, arches, corridors, stone inhabitants, doors, squares, monoliths, etc. To sum up, it is like an enchanted city in the midst of Cuenca's mountains. Just 10 kilometres away we find El Hosquillo, a natural hunting park located in a spectacular valley with bears, roe deers, deers, fallow deers and muflons.
