Photographer's Note

Church St. Anna is located on the edge of the foothill village Tatranska Javorina. The church is surrounded by a small cemetery and in the background you can see the beautiful Belianske Tatras.

This Roman Catholic church was built at the beginning of the 20th century. In 1903 it was built by Prince and German nobleman Kristian Hohenlohe, who was paradoxically Protestant.

The church is built of wood and boasts atypical appearance. It is an example of a neo-Gothic style that has Swedish features.
