Stari Badnjak.

Badnjak gori i tokom Bozica.

Old Christmas Eve.

Christmas Eve, in some places also called Veselnik, is a branch of a tree or a young tree that is ordinarily favored by Orthodox Serbs on the fire of a domestic hearth on Christmas Eve. The Christmas tree, usually young and straight, is harvested ritually early in the morning on Christmas Eve. The burning of the Christmas trees is accompanied by prayers that there will be no shortage of food, happiness, love and money in the coming year. Christmas Eve also burns during Christmas. Because the present-day way of living does not allow a fire in the hearth, the Christmas tree is most often represented by a zer twig that decorates the home on Christmas Day.
According to folk custom, after Christmas the Christmas tree is placed on a tree.
