Milanski edikt.

Edict of Milan.

View of the memorial of the cesmu and the park in Nis.
The Milan edict is a legal act adopted by the Empire of Constantine the Great and Licinius, proclaiming the religious equality and the termination of the expulsion of Christianity lasting three hundred years. It was proclaimed in Mediolan in 313. Her Christianity did not become a state religion, nor was it privileged, but they were permitted to publicly pronounce their religion and that there was no consequence for it.
In 2013, the 1700th anniversary of the Milan edict was celebrated. Constantine the Great connects three cities from various parts of Europe and Asia, Austrian Karnuntum, Serbian Nis and Turkish Izmit. The Art Karnuntum Foundation was proclaimed by Serbia and Nis for the world's great place of history, and the City candidate for marking this anniversary is Nis, the birthplace of Constantine the Great, who edited the edict.
