Photographer's Note

Back to your company after a long absence due to hollidays, I bring you a photo from the backyards of Ribeira at the city of Porto.
Nominated some years ago as World Heritage Patrimony, Ribeira has been suffering some major repairings at its front buildings but what about the backyards? I've been there during this week and it doesn't seem so. But you know what? it might be also a positive thing as it keeps it 'defended' from mass tourism being only seen by some more curious and adventurous ones or by its inhabitants, and me of course...
Wandering thru Ribeira's backyards is like leaving modern world to another strange but very appealing one, there is something on this backyards that attracts me to go there and walk around them, maybe it's the typicity that they still enclose, or maybe it's just the thrill to walk on some streets that are surely not the most secure of the city, don't know, nut I like and I hope you too like this small serie around the backyards of Ribeira.
