Photographer's Note

Last week I had the chance to find a low cost flight to Porto so with my wife and a couple friends of ours we decided not to miss this op-porto-unity!

This was the first time I visited Portugal and I liked it a lot both the country and the people. Porto is a fantastic and very interesting city with breathtaking sights and a lovely atmosphere. And we have been very lucky with the weather because it was sunny all the time.

Here I’m showing the beautiful Cathedral – called locally Sé do Porto - located in the historical centre of the city, is one of the city's oldest monuments and one of the most important Romanesque monuments in Portugal. It was built around 1110 under the patronage of Bishop Hugo and was completed in the 13th century. For its position on top of a hill it is visible almost from anywhere.
