I had never seen before a street of Nazaré! I've always seen pictures from the town by the sea!

Great shot Ike! You have got an excellent depth and sharpness. The pinky shirt is the spot of colour in the middle of the white architecture. Good work!

Hi Ike,

The point of view is sending my eyes toward the house at the end of the street which is giving depth and perspective to the composition. It is alo showiing the details and colors of the architecture of the face of the houses. the late afternoon light has a good effect on the colors. Have a nice day.

Good morning Ike,
nice the snapshot with the young woman to walk towards your lens,in this beautiful and narrow alley.I like the created perspective as lead-in the eye on the far end of it,on the woody hill.

I love these little alleyways. They are everywhere in the Mediterranean and to walk down the street like this with the tolling of a church bell in the background is one of the best experiences of travel. Excellent vertical framing and you have judged the light and shade very well. The inclusion of the person adds interest to the scene and I love the washing hanging from the balconies...reminds me of my Dad's hometown in Naples.

TFS and I wish you a lovely day. It is Australia Day here tomorrow, so I will not be on TE, but will have a nice cold beer for you all in the 40 degree heat we are expecting.

Hello Ike,
A fine capture of this street that is obviously lived in. The person walking towards the camera is well placed and adds a splash of colour to the scene. There is much detail to be observed.

I never visited these streets of nazaré, we were concentrated in the sitio área and the beach only. a girl from my town was living here for some years, working in a restaurant, nowdays she is living again here.

Hello Ike,

You're capturing well this back alley by a good composition and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see the narrow alley with the slope and the tasteful architecture of both sides. It's also impressive in color contrast of yellow and white in wall. I can feel the tasteful smell in here. And, the woman who wears black trousers and red blouse and walks the stone pavement draws out a good impact in this image as well as the colorful laundries hung on the wall's bar.

What a quaint alley! the play of light, the tones and texture which convey lots of its own old world charm, unique character and wonderful insight of this place. I like the idea of adding the lone walker as I am wondering and looking deep into the picture letting the bright red guides me in. Hello Ike,
A very beautiful alley that goes down first and then up again.
Laundry waving in the wind as far as we can see.
Nice strong contrast between the white sunlit facades and the other parts in the shade.
