Monument of the Discoverers in Bele'm, One of Lisbon's icon, is a monument that built in 1960 on the 500th year's birthday of Henry-the-Navigator: He was the founder of the maritime-discoverers journeys in the 15th century set out from Portugal.
His figure on the monument at the top , and other scalpture's figures include Vasco-da-gama and Cristovao Columbus along with other participants in those journeys.
In the 3 WS there is 2 pic.'s view from left side , and a distant view with the 25th-April-bridge.
Also, here is pic. with another diff. angel of the monument from the fountain near the Mosteiro-dos-Jerónimos.
