A fairy-tale castle is the setting for this splendid neo Manueline style palace in the woods of the Buçaco Monastery.
Built by the royal family at the end of the 19th century beside the Carmelite Monastery it is today a five star hotel of unique atmosphere, popular as a weekend retreat. Majestic columns, sculptures, valuable antique carpets and art works and furniture grace the spacious salons, reading and games room, bar and excellent adega, restaurant, buffet breakfast room and terrace.

Hi Gabriel
What a wonderful place for a terrace.All those details and architecture is interesting. only those people have no value for the atmosphere. They are a bit distracting. If they were sitting and enjoying a glass of wine that would be better.....

Sin duda es un HERMOSO lugar... pero no me gusto como le cortaste al final la foto. Por ejemplo, los arcos yo no los hubiera cortado. O en todo caso, hubiera centrado a los arcos, y asi apreciar mejor la columna del medio (entre) los dos arcos.
