Photographer's Note

The one sunny moment I had the chance to take a picture on the Buçaco Palace, nowadays a luxurious hotel.
Surrounds by the forest , and it's history goes back when it was first settled by Benedictine monks in the 6th Century, and in 1810, as French troops attacked the Duke of Wellington and his army of British and Portuguese soldiers during the unsuccessful Napoleonic invasion of Portugal.
Many Azulejos tiles decorates it's porticos .

In the 2 WS there is a diff. POV's of the Palace, taken under light rain – but heavy-clouds with low light.
