Photographer's Note

This is a closer view of the castle in Nowy Wisnicz. It was taken inside the walls. I recorded much better lit scenes or angles, but I picked this picture mainly for the charming cloud above the castle.
Area around my home town is the sunniest and warmest part of Poland.

HERE is a picture of the same castle from a distance.

Nowy Wiśnicz Castle
The castle was raised by Jan Kmita in the second half of the fourteenth century in the Baroque architectural style with Renaissance elements. It was built on the plan of the quadrilateral with the inner courtyard. The castle has four towers, with one in each corner. It is surrounded by bastion fortifications and the main gate from the early 17th century. In the 1590s and 1610s, it had a four-wing structure, three towers and fortifications surrounding the castle with two gates. During the Deluge the Swedes looted and destroyed the castle. The restoration works have never been completed.
