Photographer's Note

Another evening, another sunset...
Or is it?
I took this photo just a quarter past midnight June 2nd.

My parents had gone off to our old cabin/house some 120km south of Stavanger and for some strange reason I found it natural to pick up their mail at this hour!?
This stretch of beach has a very nicely situated road running just behind the sand dunes, just by chance I happened to notice this view.
Now what is this? A sunset or a sun rise?
The days are so long up here now that it almost feels like it's never gonna get dark.

I pulled off the road and on to an achient AA- foundation from WW2, flipped up the 30 year old tripod I borrowed from my father and took a few snaps. This is the result.

My POV is almost similar to my most previous photo, although this obviously has better colour.

I tried testing a little with the F-stop, but eventually ended up with this setting as it had the best colours.
