Photographer's Note

The two darkest months of the year December and January offer only limited photo opportunities outdoor, as the landscape appears black and white because of the snow and low light.

But the days are getting brighter, more accurately the day gets 2h 28 min longer during January and 2h 56 min longer during February!

The present image was taken yesterday morning, showing sunrise at 09:37 AM, while the workshop image was taken from approximately same point of view 2 weeks earlier and shows sunrise at 10:22 AM…
