Photographer's Note

The Norwegian Glacier Museum is located in the village Fjærland in Sogn & Fjordane county, not far from Jostedalsbreen glacier, the largest glacier in the northern part of Europe. The architect was Sverre Fehn, and it was built in 1994. The museum intends to collect and desseminate information about glaciers and climate, and do also focus on the interaction between humans and nature. My picture shows the entrance. The stairs on each side of the roof is leads to an open terrace on the ceiling, with a spectacular view towards the mountains, the village and the Fjærlandsfjord.

Thanks for watching.
