Photographer's Note

Following on from 'Early start #2', this is a side view of the Mauritshuis.

The museum came into being after King William I donated the collection of paintings belonging to his father, Stadholder Prince William V of Orange, to the Dutch state in 1816.
Since then, it has grown from some 200 paintings to almost 800.

If staying in Amsterdam, it is well worth a trip to The Hague to see all the wonderful artwork housed here.

Two more views in the workshop.
Thanks for looking.
