Hi Dan,
If been away a while and it's good to come back to your gallery and see so many fine images. I don't know why this shot hasn't received more reviews. To me it's a perfect & minimalist. I like that it's set against the black background (well it would be wouldn't it?) and that it shows us good detail of the moons surface too. I like the information in the note and this is one for my theme, TE Moments.

Very nice view of the moon, did you use a zoom or a telescope? :D
Is the Yellow color due to the moon being low on the horizon or some pollution in the sky?
You could also say that the earth is slowing down slowly due to the tidal forces of the moon, during the reign of dinosaurs up to 64 million years ago the length of day was about 18 hours instead of the 24 we now have ;)
