Gold Alp
The Alpe dell'Oro (whose name derives from ancient quarries of gold, today no longer visible, with the proceeds of which - according to tradition - the malenchi would have built the churches of the valley) is slightly moved to the right of the road main that continues in the valley towards the Passo del Muretto, and is located on a natural terrace just above 2000 meters. From the Alpe dell 'Oro, where it is possible to buy fresh dairy products, the panorama widens to include the peaks of the Valle del Ventina and Val Sissone, from Pizzo Cassandra to the whole group of the Disgrazia. Continuing we reach the Passo del Muretto, near the Swiss border.
