Photographer's Note

Limone sul Garda is one of the most renowned tourist resorts picturesquely situated between mountains and the shore of Lake Garda. The original fishing village is now a tourist destination with many modern hotels.
The first settlements of the people date back to the Neolithic Age, but Limone could only be reached by the lake or over the mountains. Until the 20th century Limone was isolated, only in 1932 was built the famous panoramic road Gardesana Occidentale on the west shore of the Lake Garda, with 74 with rock-hewn tunnels and galleries in steep slopes of mountains.
Many years ago Limone was famous for the production of lemons, but the name Limone probably derives not from the surrounding citrus groves, but from the Latin word limes (border).
Limone sul Garda has 1181 inhabitants and about 10,000 tourists a day come during the season to this resort.
In my photo you can see the promenade along the shore of Lake Garda.
