Photographer's Note

Baschi, historic medieval center perched on a spike of rock, overlooking the Tiber, originates from Etruscan settlements in contact with the ancient Orvieto.
The current territory consists of Baschi and the hamlets of Acqualoreto, Baschi Scalo, Cerreto, Civitella del Lago, Collelungo, Morre, Morruzze, Scoppieto and Vagli.
In the particularly evocative capital is the medieval village, called "I buchi" because of the small size of houses, alleys, doors and windows. A real "little ancient world", perfectly preserved.
