Convento di San Francesco
The convent of San Francesco originates from a first community of Franciscans who settled in the Valnerina and precisely in Arrone, after the preaching of Francesco in Narni, in Terni and in the Terni area, probably starting from the third decade of the XIII century, but of the nothing remains today of primitive construction; it is documented for the first time in 1291 by the "Vatican Registries" which shows that, between 5 and 9 June of that year, with a bull of Nicolò IV "Licet is", he received the indulgence together with other centers of the Valnerina .
