Photographer's Note

When I started my tour at the Cinque Terre, I really felt, as a Greek, being in home. The blue of the Mediteranean, the warm sun, the sweet weather, the fish and the olive trees! Trying out to find the main difference between the Cinque Terre and the greek islands I looked around and the answer was simple: the colours! In all greek islands the white houses with the blue doors and windows is the tradition for centuries. In the italian coastline I found a parade of pastel colours. No specific pattern just every imaginable colour.
This photo was shot at the port of Vernazza. My regards and thanks to the house owner for this magnificent parade of coloured clothes.
