Photographer's Note

Far from Coliseum

Far away from Coliseum, Borghese, Navona, Condoti, Scalla, Sistine, Pantheon and Trevi…

There, there it is… Trastevere.

They don't sell the postcards with Trastevere' narrow, sleepy streets and real people. They not suppose to. It's the place for us - the hunters of real emotions. That's where I went… I went after fried green paprika seductive smell, after cobblestones paths, and 'Da una tarantella bella' coming from one of the windows.

You don't expect me, dear folks, to post the Coliseum or Basilica photos, do you? Because if you do… Leave my site immediately. And, never come back.
But if you decided to stay? Enjoy the other face of Rome.

This post is a collage of two pictures taken more or less in the same neighborhood and more or less at the same time.

This picture belongs to the series called Rome's Different Faces' and it is the tribute to the most photo-exciting city on Earth.

Rome was a poem changed somehow into service as a city.
