Photographer's Note

Rain, and a little bit of sun, and more rain, and lots of clouds. And when we got to the river bank, the rainbow showed us the pot of gold. It seems the birds saw it too and started to fly towards it.
On the left, the Spanish Arch. It's a set of two arches built in the XVI century as part of the wall in the city quays. They have nothing to do with Spain despite their name. Part of them have been converted into the Galway City Museum. It's a lively place for a walk while watching the many swans which live in the river.

The colours of the shot are natural, though I enhanced the contrast. I'm not very happy with the composition; the arches finish exactly where my photo finishes, but it looks as if they had been cut. Maybe I'd better crop the first arch or part of it. What do you think?

Thanks for watching and for your comments!
