Photographer's Note
This is the Blue Lagoon (Icelandic: Bláa Lónið) located at the Grindavík on the Reykjanes in Iceland. It is a geothermal bath and one of the main tourist attractions in Iceland. Most people visit it on the way from or to the airport Keflavik which is not far from here. The water is warm and rich in minerals.

Hej Ulf,
Vattnet ser onekligen mer grått ut än blått, men det kanske är något med ljuset. "Grå lagunen" skulle förstås inte locka så många. Ångan som stiger högt upp är ganska fascinerande. Jag antar att det ändå inte är så varmt att man bränner sig. Bakgrunden bjuder en märklig blandning av modernistisk arkitektur och vad som ser ut som lavaklippor. Ett mycket speciellt ställe.

nice the view of the Bleu lagoon this geothermal bath,with the lot of people to enjoy the Natural water that is warm and rich in minerals.

En mycket intressant bild. Den mörka bakgrunden, som ser ut som en borg, ger en fin inramning för de badande. Trots moln på himlen ser det ut som om solen skiner över "lagunen". Ångan som stiger från vattenytan ger en intressant effekt.

Hello Ulf.
The vapors and people dip in water, gray rocks around, all culminate to convey the true ambiance of the Blue-lagoon, here mostly with not much of blue tone...
The faces expression show content while in the hot water.
Nice taken the photo, human-element included.

Hi Ulf,
I can just feel the well-being of these bathers. I experienced hot mineral baths in Turkey and Costa-Rica. It was just divine !
Good effect created by the fumes coming from the water. Interesting dynamism created by the bathers and the volcanic rocks at the back let us know in what sort of country we are.
