Photographer's Note

I interrupt my Bp series to show you what I shot this afternoon. The old man, who used to play the zither on the main street packing his instruments. What really caught me are the lights reflected on the old man's face from the windows on the other side. In the WS I show you a shot of the surroundings.

The title is play with the words: to hung up someone's fiddle can be translated ~ leteszi a lantot (someone puts down the lyre), which is also the starting line of a poem written by Arany János (a great Hungarian poet), and reflects his pain after the fall of the Independence War of 1848-49.

Here you can read the poem: http://www.visegradliterature.net/works/hu/Arany_J%C3%A1nos/Let%C3%A9szem_a_lantot/en/1969-I_lay_down_the_lyre?interfaceLang=hu
