Photographer's Note

Greeks, a naval nation from ancient times, used to decorate small ship models during the Xmas period instead of a tree. It's a custom that has been outrun by the Christmas tree-mania, but in Thessaloniki's Aristotelous square, every year a big ship model is made out of light bulbs. It is very impressive, next to the Christmas tree.

* I had to remove that disturbing lighting pole seen in the original picture (OK, cloning could be better in some points!). Now was the time to do it, giving you also my best wishes for Christmas! Happy holidays!
