Photographer’s Note

From the bell tower of the St. Matthaus Kirche i took this photo of the surrounding area.
The church its form 1944-46 by project of Freidrich Stuller and Herbert Wentzel based on some italian temples from the romantic era. We had to pay 1 euro each to get to the top and wait for 10 minutes because the bells were about to sound (the ladie in the reception wisely worned us).
At the top (surrounded by a fence) there was a little whole were through the photos could be taken.
Its possible to see the Reichstag, the outside of Philhamonie and Kammermusiksaal, and the road that leads to Potsdamer Platz with the Sony Center feather dome.
