This "Model Photograper" was decorating a newspaper stand in Duesseldorf and directed to the entrance of the Railwaystation Duessledorf !

Hi Mesut!
Congratulations for this 8 years milestone; you are definitely a pillar of Trekearth.
This mannequin photographer must have been inspired by French actor Alain Delon, as he has a similar look and seems to come out of the 70's.
That's a relevant subject to underline your long presence on this website. As you have placed your "subject" close to the frame in front of him and lots of place behind, I presume that there was a sign, a three or something you wanted to avoid to include in the frame, otherwise it would have been preferable to leave more generous space in front.

Hallo Mesut. Ich war sehr verblüfft, als ich dieses Foto sah. Der Fotograf auf der Litfaßsäule in Düsseldorf ist mir gut bekannt, - und ich habe ihn selbst mehrfach fotografiert. Gerade in den letzten Tagen habe ich mir eines der Bilder auf meinem Monitor angesehen.
Die Figur ist aus mehreren Gründen interessant, zudem der Fotoapparat eine Leica ist. Eine solche Kamera habe ich über Jahrzehnte selbst benutzt.
Wie auch immer, das Foto gefällt mir sehr gut.

Merhaba Mesut,
I'm a little late to wish you a happy 8 years here on TE! I think this photographer is a great choice to begin your ninth year of photos here. I like your close-up of him, with the apartment building in the background. Maybe at night, when nobody is looking, he gets down and also browses TE. ;-) It would be interesting to try and find scenes of photographers and start a theme, but it's not an easy subject to find.

Well, better late than never...congratulations on this impressive milestone! TE will always be a better place when others can be inspired by those who have been around for an extended period of time.
Photographing the photographer, a great way to mark the achievement. I like Brenda's idea to start this as a theme, could be a lot of fun. :) Looks like some tricky light, but you've controlled it well to show everything in fine detail and color. Here's to many more years from behind your lens...cheers!

Hello dear Mesut,
I like very much the graphical effect of this image, you have used your point of view and the background superbly, creating great dynamism and sense of action. Foreground and background consist of diagonals, the interaction between them is striking. There's a limited palette of simple and rich colours, making the photographer look like a comic book hero in an absolutely appropriate environment. Congratulations and thank you for your inspiring enthusiasm too!
