Photographer's Note

Those who know me well, know that I have a serious fixation on Vespas. Having such a fixation can be a problem in Europe since you meet one of those every 3,44 seconds. So I had to hide in cafes once in a while in between the Vespa-hunting sessions:D
For this one, I'd have liked to have time to adjust some exposure settings but he passed too fast, I had to keep the ones that were on...Maybe a longer shutter speed with a narrower aperture. But I liked the character on the motorcycle: his face, his Ipod earphones but most of all, the star on his helmet. With Paris as a background, just aside the Seine and a fairly sharp panning, for me it was a shot worth showing.

It could very well be the beginning or the end of a story...Anyone saw the movie Amélie Poulin?
