Hi Sabrina,
Your early waking has paid off, as the colours and mood of the image are soft and attractive. I like the simple composition of only the castle in the mist which creates an atmosphere as if you are the only person in that location. Well captured.

Bellissima immagine, forse una delle più belle che si possano incontrare di mattina presto a Mont-Saint-Michel.
Questi colori pastello sono deliziosi a fare da contorno ad una delle silhouette paesaggistiche più suggestive della Terra.

Cette photo montre bien que la lumiere est cruciale pour avoir une photo exceptionnelle comme celle-ci mais pour chercher cette lumiere, il faut se lever bien avant elle!!!

Your photo initially looked like a painting for me due to the surreal colors and silhouette but by closer inspection I was able to see it was not. Thus, you achieved a goal in photography: making ordinary things look extraordinary. Great composition and beautiful view.

"The world belong to those who wakes up early"...it's realy true in photography...the place is very famous on TE but you've catch here an amazing atmosphere!the Mont st Michel seems coming from no-where,you did not push the colors in post prod it's good to respect the real mood of the moment,

grazie alle tue foto di Mont Saint Michel è bello vedere come uno stesso splendido soggetto possa essere spunto per tante belle foto dalle atmosfere sempre diverse.
Questa foto mi piace in maniera particolare, con l'abbazia che sembra sospesa sulle nuvole in una luce rarefatta che trasmette una grande pace e silenzio.
Valeva la pena la levataccia per godre di questo scorcio di bellezza lontano dalle frotte di turisti.

I do not want that you think that I value your image to have done the same with mine; it gives to me fear this kind of "quid pro quo", but I make an exception with this magnificent photo: the color, the unreal forms that you know that they are real. To Wake up early in this case is painless.

This is among the best photos in your gallery, and most certainly worth getting up early. I cannot believe you were in Northern France just a week before you posted this etherial image. The composition, depth of field, perspective, and exposure are all exquisite.

Hi Sabrina. This shot has a particular impact for me, since it is exactly as I saw it for the first time in 1983, on a bicycle, and travelling light with a Pentax 110 (not very worthwhile results). I've been many times since, but never caught the early morning mist like that since. Very nicely positioned, with the causway working as a good compo device.

Great shot of this marvellous thing : le mont saint-Michel !
I leave not far from it (one hour) and I often go there. For the moment I didn't see it like this. You were very lucky.
