Photographer’s Note
After the Swiss Navy, an Alsatian Harbour ;-)
Because of the number of waterways around (Rhine and several canals), leasure navigation has developped along the Rhine and so came the need to have harbours to shelter the boats. This is the one in my village Kembs where I went early this morning to benefit from better light than yesterday and experiment wider aperture values.

I like the repetition of the boats, & their reflections in the water. Superb sharpness color & lighting. The trees either side make nice 'bookends'. C'est vraiment tres bon!

alors ce réflex, tu trouves les réglages qui te conviennent sans faire trop de post-traitement ?
Belles couleurs matinales, le Rhin (ou un canal) à l'air très calme, je ne savais pas qu'il y a avait de tels ports.

Les couleurs sont tres belles, ce bleu flash meme s'il y en a tres peu...Ca m'a l'air tres calme dans le coin, si je pouvais egalement remplacer ma voiture par un petit bateau.....

le premier bateau fluvial est très amusant, il a un coté cossu et une achitecture bizarre on va dire un gallion fluvial :)))
Bonne photo et l'avenir appartient aux photographes qui se lèvent tot (et se couchent tard).

Have I mentiond before that blue is my favorite color? Perhaps to someone else. Well, I just LOVE the deep blue of the water. It looks so clean and cool, really wonderful. The clear reflections and the calm water are what drew my attention here.

Je n'ai jamais eu l'occasion de naviguer sur ce type de bateaux mais je suis sur que ce doit etre une experience tres interesante, de partir sur plusieurs jours.
J'aime beaucoup les couleurs et la reflexion sur l'eau.
Par contre, c'est vraiment moche ce radar qui depasse!

Delightful simple scene from the small marina, with the neatly arranged boats and their reflections making a nice foreground subject. Beautiful luminosity and colors captured, and nice inclusion of the tree (+ reflection) at the right. Well done, JY.

What are you planning next? Fishermen in Sahara or the highest peak of Netherlands? Hower, I must say that the great colours and homely mood of this harbour fully compansate its size. A clever idea and well done!

Hi Jean-Yves. This reminds me of a shot Sofia might post from Portugal. Of course the reflections are wonderful. But the clarity and focus are both key in this shot being so good. It seems like the saturation is nice and high, which I always like. Another good job Jean-Yves.
