Photographer's Note

A view of the Sacre-Coeur Basilica erected on the Montmartre hill.

Have a view to the terrible Chimera. It may reminds people that "Montmarte" means "Mount of the Martyrs" after the martyrdom made on the place in the IIIrd century.

Within Paris, the architecture is quite original : it is a romano-byzantine style basilica.

The building started in 1875 and was ready for Consecration in 1914 but as the World War I broke out, it was delayed to 1919.

As it does not happen so often, I want to mention this is the original composition. No cropping this time :)
