Hello Jean,
Excellent capture of this grandiose mountain landscape. Very good idea to include the seated figure in red to supply scale and give an effective focal point. Nicely exposed with good colours and sharpness.

Bonjour Jean,
On peut se demander pourquoi il n’y a pas de neige là où se trouve cette personne tandis que sur la pente de l'autre côté la neige semble se trouver à la même hauteur.
La hauteur est probablement une illusion d'optique ... Ou peut-être qu'il y a pour beaucoup plus de temps de soleil où l'homme est assis.
La photo en tout cas, montre une scène naturelle très impressionnante.

Hi Jean,
What a great resting place to look these huge mountains. Snowline on those mountains is lower than foreground terrain. Play of sunshine and shadow looks great.

The snow has been perfectly captured here, with very good light and texture, and the mountain looks really imposing! The person looks so tiny, but still stands out in the composition for the strong colors of his clothes! Wonderful composition!

What a masterstroke it was to include the single figure, seated at the edge of the grassy slope, because, by doing that, you have created an amazing sense of scale and depth, that would not have otherwise been recognised.
It's an amazing shot of these magnificent, snow covered slopes!
