Beautiful anticyclonic conditions, sun and warm temperatures for the last fortnight of February in the Pyrenees ... the snow melts on the slopes and tracks in the sun, but a dull and gray haze hovers in the valley masking the sight of the horizon ... the result of a pollution spike ! This is how ...
But at altitude, the sky was clear and the panorama splendid ...

Hello Jean,
The haze of the pollution in the background makes the foreground stand out even better, the clarity here is excellent. A nice mix of snowy patches and the yellowish parts where the snow had already melted. The two tiny people are also well included.

Hello Jean,
The air pollution is quite evident in the distance, but all is clear in the mountains, hopefully. I like the composition and the choice of the vertical format. The two skiers, well placed in the frame, give scale to the grandiose mountain landscape.

A nice informative photo where it is also noticeable that the cross-country ski run still has a lot of snow while the slopes are quickly becoming snow-free. Does not the layered atmosphere in the atmosphere arise also from hot and cold air-layers above each other?

Hello Jean,
It's a beautiful view in spite of the polluted haze in the distance. The curving road looks like an ideal place for cross-country skiing, and the inclusion of two skiers was perfect to show the pleasure of their exercise and underscore the natural beauty.

Hello Jean, air pollution is well visible here. It is terrifying that even in a place far away from the cities there is such a bad grey haze. On the other hand, photographically the result is interesting, contrasting with the more colourful foreground. A nice wide path for skiing. Is this artificial snow? I mean, on the slopes the snow has already melted.

The air pollution is only very faint compared to China and India where the skies are white. There's a little bit of bg haze but it does not detract from the magnificent fg. Good sharpness and the snow covered road adds nice lead in lines. Tfs!
