Photographer's Note

I found this relatively old digital photograph of the Sacre Coeur in Paris which I took with an early model consumer digital camera when the highest resolution then was 640 x 450 pixel and the cost of the camera was quite prohibitive. Those old cameras were good for macro shots but not for landscape or portraits - pictures turn out to have lots of compression artefacts.

But I like the picture because it was moody so I tried to salvage it through post processing in Photoshop.

Tech: I converted the picture to black and white, applied gaussian blur, resized it a little bit to reduce pixelation (this picture is actually very nice when saved in a smaller size), framed and resized again, then sharpened.
