Photographer's Note

The bench of the lovers, homage to Brassens.
Many times, while walking near the lake of “Les Vaux of Cernay”, I have seen lovers sitted on this bench which make me think of this song of Brassens.
The elder ones knew certainly George Brassens, uncontested poet and very appreciated for its realistic songs. Brassens is deceased 25 years ago, in November 1981.
This view of the bench posted today, it is like homage to this poet, who composed and sang the "bancs publics".
For those which wish to hear and see Brassens interpreting it I added this link towards the site of the INA (National Institute of Audio-visual). Not to forget to put the sound and to activate control X when it is required.
This site that I recommend highly, deserves to be visited because it contains unsuspected richness as regards files of the cinema and television
