Helsinki Lutheran Cathedral - A different view (Part 2)

See my first shot in the series for more info.

Well, this is actually not so different from many shots of this church. Except that it is shot from the backside, literally taking support from the Bank of Finland (or whatever it is called now when we are part of the monetary union (Euro)). But the church looks very much the same from all directions. The east side is probably the only one being a bit different. The south side is the side facing the square from which most people take the shots. Personally I think the best view is from the west, where there is not so much of a height difference.

I checked yes for tripod, as I used a corner of the Bank of Finland for support...

I consider this dark enough to classify as night, so this is my fifth entry in the scaenger hunt "The Hunt - VIII"

PP:
- Cropped
- Resized
- Shadows lightened up a little, the little tower was too dark
- Adjusted red midpoint with levels to reduce redness
- USM
- Framed

REPOSTED:
Reposted a sharper version. Also rotated 0.7deg CCW.
Sharepning was done with high-pass filtering (new for me) and USM.
Sharpening with high-pass filtering:
- Make a copy of the image to a new layer
- Convert to B&W
- High-pass filter (radius 1.8)
- Blend with original (I used soft light)
- I removed some too strong sharpening around the branches against the smaller tower.

It was close with this. But I wanted some more detail and applied USM with radius 0.4 twice. This should be achievable with another hp-layer, but I didn't get that to work.

EDIT:
I just noticed an interesting fact. If I move my head from left to right or vice versa the churchtower seems to tilt from one side to the other....
