Photographer's Note

This the harbour of Århus (the second biggest city of Denmark). Each year about 8,000 ships dock at the harbour of Aarhus and they carry about 10 million tonnes of goods. More info about the harbour can be found on this site.

The rails you see here are from the trainline Århus-Grenaa. Grenaa is also an harbour city. Here you can take the ferry to Sweden. This line has recently been opened again after a big renovation.

The sea you see here is called Århus Bugt.

If you look closely you see the tower of Århus Cathedral to the right. I also made a picture of that cathedral, which you can find here.

More to the right, in the very right corner, you can also see the tower of the famous townhall of Århus. Another member of TrekEarth made a very good picture of that tower, which you can find here.

The big crane you see to the left is this red an blue crane here (made by the same member, I hope that member think it's okay to make links to her account. If not, please let me know.)

I made this picture yesterday when the sun was going down. I didn't use a tripod but a pole of the fench by the trainline.

I cropped a big part of the bottum and top, I sharpned it, decreased the green and increased the contrasts.
