Photographer's Note

The Church of St. Wenceslas in Starý Jičín is mentioned for the first time in 1376 but can be of an older origin. In the 2nd half of the 16th century, it was rebuilt in Renaissance style, and in 1706 it was modified in addition to the Baroque style tower. In the years 1715-21, a new presbytery and a palatial tribune were built.

Kostel svatého Václava ve Starém Jičíně je poprvé připomínán v roce 1376, může být však staršího původu. V 2.polovině 16.století byl renesančně přestavěn, V roce 1706 byl upraven kromě věže v barokním slohu. V letech 1715–21 postaven nový presbytář a patrová tribuna.
