Photographer's Note

A small church of St. Nicholas is an interesting example of wooden architecture. Originally, the Orthodox church was built between 1502 - 1510 in Habura in eastern Slovakia. In 1740 the village was sold to village Mala Polana in Zakarpatske Ukraine, where he was transformed into a Greek Orthodox church of Santa Claus - Miracle Worker. In 1935, about his purchase for the city deserved to be mayor of Hradec, Josef Pilnáèek. Then he was very expensively restored and placed in the Jirásek Gardens. Fence surrounds the original church, the interior is dominated by preserved iconostasis, chandelier wooden furniture and other items.
