Hi Lars,
Magnificent architecture for this town hall, and unusually ornate. I like the POV, the fine lighting, and the symmetry of the facade arches, with fine graphism. The partial reflections do not detract but give this an artistic appeal. Very fine work. Cheers.

Hi Lars,

Really exiting composition and great reflections even if they are not perfectly symmetrical. The style of this building is very similar to the the town hall of Brussels. TFS and have a nice week end!

Tak for i går! 't Was heel gezellig.
Mijn foto's zijn wel aardig, maar er is er niet eentje die ik echt heel goed vind. De leukste foto's heb ik gemaakt toen we op die heuvel in Brussel stonden.
Wel, ik had hem al in 't klein gezien, maar het is een mooie foto. Mooi die blauwe lucht, die kwamen gisteren weinig voor. De stenen hebben ook wel een mooie, warme kleur en die man is een goed toevoeging.

Hoi Lars,

Uw vader had laten weten dat u in Mechelen was, en ik had onmiddellijk aan deze foto gedacht, dit is de blikvanger in Mechelen.
Ik hoop dat u ook de Begijnhoven heeft bezocht en de barok kerk.
Wel iets speciaals van gemaakt met deze reflecties en dit valt best mee, is gewoon mooi gevonden. Bedankt.

Olá Lars, spectacular capture of this reflection, may be one of my favorites of the theme. The architecture is magnificent and its duplication to the right made a fantastic set. The colors are great and the blue sky is enhancing. Nice to see the person in the centre as well, which curiously is not duplicated - he's an important detail. Excellent shot.

Hallo Lars,
Hier kun je zien dat een spiegeling nog meer alure aan een gebouw kan geven. Inplaats van een stadhuis lijkt het nu wel een kathedraal.

Hi Lars,
I like those rich architecture on the coasts of Europe to the North from the time of the Hanse. It is a beautiful buidling and the capture with the reflection is a great variation with a good angle for perspective. It is a luck that there is some life visible, but no crowd. Excellent sharpness and contrasts. A bit more wind would be nice to unfold the flags as colour spots.

Quite a millimetered symetry.... and you have worked well in finding the POV to frame this.
I like it, the Belgium 's architecture is great and detailed.

Very interesting reflection, which composes a very simetric picture and makes the building to appear bigger as it is. I am also impressed that such a not very big city (79'000 inhabitants seem to me to be a few) can have so wonderful buildings.
I must recognize that the name of the city Mechelen (Malinas in Spanish) is known for me because a football club won of this city won the European Cup Winners Cup, againts the mighty Ajax Amsterdam in 1988. Ajax had won the Cup on the previous season and probably you know that this cup has never been won twice in a row by the same club.
