A small bike trip to own municipality with a rural result.

On this photo you can see one of the old cobblestone roads with a history of more than a hundred years ago.
Almost the only road that has remained a small part of two hundred meters to Boombos.
This way is a hell for cyclists, through the cobblestones.

I found this dispute with our friends from where I am a small part of the employee.

The connecting road between Adegem-Dorp and Adegem-Kruipuit is really no longer recognizable, as it was a good hundred years ago. In those days it was a dusty dirt road at places and a muddy street elsewhere, with many curves and curves. The location and condition of that road are clearly reflected in the 1745 country book and on Popp's plan. Parts of that road called the Cleemputtestraat and further on - near the Kruipuit - the Oostwinkelstraat. From the Kruipuit to the border with Oostwinkel, that road bears the name Kruipuitstraat.
Nowadays, the path from Adegem-Dorp to the Kruipuit is a modern road of 17 meters wide, of which the angular bends, especially on the neighborhoods of Heulendonk, Cleemputte and Appelboom, have been removed. It is a good concrete road with double lane and equipped with all utilities.

I hope you like it.
