Excellent shot Henk, the yellow field with the buttercups flowers produces a good color contrast with the green mountains and the sharp blue sky, good idea to keep the cloud.
Lovely place with the wooden houses in the middle of all this beauty. Interesting to see that you have this superb shot since 2005 and never posted before.

Hoi Henk,

Een plaatje wederom!! Prachtig detail in de voorgrond, de huizen mooi scherp en de glooiende weide er tussenin geeft wat te kijken! Moest natuurlijk even wennen aan die glooiing, want m'n tilted-horizon-probleem speelde weer op, maar de muren van de huizen overtuigden ;-).
De fluffy loof-bossen aan de rechterkant hadden nog iets meer contrast mogen hebben, maar de saturatie is echt heel mooi. En ja, die wolk moet blijven!!

Lekker sappig alpenweidje. Mooie frisse kleuren, dat groen, geel en blauw en dat dat schuine rijtje houten huizen erin.
Een weidje om even lekker in het gras te gaan liggen he, met een graspriet in je mond en de zon in je gezicht. Dat wel na het fotograferen he, anders komt daar niks meer van :-))))

Nog 1 vraagje: heb je je parkeerlichten nou aan of uit gedaan?
Oh ja, en dat wolkje ....... goed dat je dat hebt laten staan !!!

Of course the cloud should stay. Play of light on the background trees. Buildings of alpine farm. carpet of dandelions with more details showing in the foreground. Perfect. And so tearing to show it in September...

The bold white cloud adds a nice touch to this lovely alpine scene. The whole picture is bursting with spring life and colour, and the various green tones in the background are nicely illuminated to show every detail and contour. The square format is an interesting choice; I think it just about works here.

Oh you get into the Carper business ?
I like here mostly the tones of green on the hill with the rich nuances, as often the chalets do not stand out so well because of their color difficult to render in a shiny way, however they do stand out a bit here being at the limit between the yellow and the green part. To me it was essential to keep the cloud for exactly the reason you mention. Oh I'd like to be there today ;-)

Beautiful. I spent 6 months in Vienna after I graduated but never visited Austrian countryside. Now I'll have to return to Austria to find these wonderful landscapes. Your light is perfect here. I specially love the shadows above the pine trees. It's so good. Colors are vibrant and very natural. Like that. Very good one Henk.

Never clone a cloud like this ;-) It makes the photo so dynamic. The details of the dandelions are stunning and being me, I love the rich, saturated colours. These cutes chalets against the hills were worth stopping the car for.

So fresh and beautiful Henk. It was worth risking a parking fine. The dandelions make a wonderful sloping carpet (Are you sure it's not tilted? -I think you get the joke! ;D )The light is providing some excellent contrasts on the downward green slopes. The cloud is just perfect - Quit tinkering ;D Square format works well.

Henk, another wonderful shot of this Grossglockner area. Lovely how you compressed the scattered yellow flowers into a yellow carpet leading into the image directly to the farm and the mountains in the background. Your PP here is good as it always is and I wish I will get there at some point to. Your shots always gives me the impression to be standing right in the middle of the landscape. Such beautiful luminosity that you achieve.

Dag, Henk. Een foto die een prachtige zomeratmosfeer weergeeft. Die bloemen op de voorgrond zijn zcht prachtig en zorgen voorcontrast met het overheersende groen. De gebouwen zijn goed geplaatst om de breuk tussen de relatief vlakke voorgrond en de steile hellingen te vergemakkelijken. En deze wolk is zeker een pluspunt in de compositie.

You have captured the perfect Alpine meadow!!
The sharp FG detail gives way to the angle of the golden field, the the green hills sweep in from the opposite angle. The wide open green areas look like ski runs to me. The colors have perfect clarity and of course that frivolous cloud must stay. The buildings are neat and tasteful and add an additional layer.

Hoi Henk, het klassieke frame past erg mooi bij dit fraaie berglandschap. Erg mooie vlakverdeling. Hallo Henk,
it is a pretty and very typical view somewhere from the Alps, here close to the Grossglockner. The wonderful light and amazing sharpness is pushing this beauty through my monitor. From the meadow in front to the grass on the slopes or also the trees, marvelous contrasts. The composition with the view along the houses and nearly frontal to the slope is nice. The cloud is the cherry on the cake, but I like here more to write: "Sahnehäubchen".

Que paisagem maravilhosa Henk!
As cores onde o verde predomina com seus vários matizes são simplismente belas. A composição um espetáculo, gostei daquela nuvem solitária, perdida no intenso azul do céu. As flores em primeiro plano deram graça e delicadeza.

Image well composed, as the large field, with the colors of the flower serve as a good introduction to the middle plane, with the houses, and set against the soaring mountains that gives a good sense of balance.
And the clouds for some dynamism.
Leaving soon and I am not sure if I will post something in the near future,unles my computer screen comes back to life,the colors are awful.So, Have a good trip and it is with anticiation that I wait for your first pictures of Peru.
