Washing day in an Albanian village somewhere off the beaten track, in the mountains. The progress in Albanian one can see not only in the big tourists centers but also in small villages.
Pilur is a village on the Albanian Riviera in Vlorë County, Albania. It is part of the municipality Himarë. In 1720, the villages of Himara, Palasa, Ilias, Vuno, Pilur and Qeparo refused to submit to the Pasha of Delvine.
