Photographer's Note

Departing the general aviation gate at Tocumen International Airport, the first thing that you see is a dozen and a half of these buses, each more flamboyant than the next. Chrome, streamers, exhaust stacks, lights--anything to make it flashier than the next bus. Very cheerful and eye-catching, just like the people. None of the other vehicles were so decorated, not even the taxi-cabs, just these buses which ran a regular route between Tocumen and Panama City.

Technically this is not a good photo and I would not post it, but since this site is about learning I felt it permissible to show you this. It was the photo that instantly came to mind when seeing the "taxi of the world" scavenger theme. If I ever have oppurtunity to visit Panama again, I hope to have the chance to devote 15 minutes even to capturing these pieces of art more carefully.

If someone is capable of cloning the car out of the bottom right, they are welcome to it.

Rotate, brighten, increase contrast, and cropped.
