Photographer's Note
3 days after the disaster - the ruins still remain being the centerpiece of the city.
International rescue teams are working on public and buildings like schools, orphanages, hospitals; local people are searching the ruins of their houses with their families and friends... but with 70% of the 2mln city destroyed the progress is yet difficult to see...
The rubble still seems to rule the city, to donimate the landscape. I can't wait for it to be gone...

Hello Kateryna,
this is the first picture I've seen the catastrophe, difficult to describe the chaos that is taking place in Haiti, many people are mobilized for this natural disaster. A picture of desolation that takes us by the throat and deep in the heart. Thank you for sharing.
Good evening.

Bonjour Kateryna.
Une image troublante et bien d'actualité. Je compatie de tout cœur avec tous ces gens dans la détresse et la douleur.
Je ne peux que te souhaiter beaucoup de courage.

Hi Kateryna.
Such a big catastrophe in a so poor country. Hope you get enough help there.
You seem to be the only TE member in Haiti and Haiti seems not to have been popular earlier either. Only very scarce postings.
Keep sharing!

Hi Kateryna!
We have seen pictures like this all over the news, ever since the earthquake happened! However, it's good that it should be on TE too, which is not only a site to learn about the beautiful side of the world, but also the miserable parts, hoping that by knowing the reality, people would want to help do something about it!
Like you, I suppose! If you took that picture 3 days after the eathquake, you must have been over there when it happened! And lucky to escape!
Are you in humanitarian work?
Thanks for everything!
Best wishes.
Marie Louise.
