Photographer’s Note
This cave was close to Maya Beach and was named Tham Pya Nak by King Rama 9 after his visit in 1972.
The cave is revered by the local people. They come here to collect the swift's nests, used to make Bird's Nest Soup, a Chinese delicacy. The season for the nests is between February and April. A bids' nest company has the concession for the cave, and they must be asked if you want to visit the cave
