Injeongjeon Hall

The greatest building in Changdeokgung Palace Complex. It was used for official ceremony, such as celebration by royal subjects and receptions for foreign envoys.

The building was constructed in 1405 (King Taejong's reign, but suffered fire damage during the Imjin invasion by the Japanese. It was then restored in 1609 (King Gwanghaegun's reign).

In the first year of King Sunjo's reign in 1908, some modifications were made to the interior of its building following European style.
